Events bring people together. It fosters togetherness, we can gather, share, listen and encourage one another. For Christians, gathering has always been an important part of our faith. The word 'church' or ecclesia (from the Greek New Testament) means 'assembly' or 'gathering'. We are meant to be a community, sharing life and breaking bread together.
In recent years, meeting in person has been difficult or limited, but now we have the chance to do it again. Let's eat, sing, and laugh together. Let's form a unified body of Christ, a vibrant community. Instead of being isolated, let's follow the words of Hebrews 10:24-25 "Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near", and encourage one another by gathering people.
